Ryan Rodrigo has been in the food industry for over 10 years. He has worked as a chef and pizza professional, Pizzaiolo, in hotels and fine dining kitchens.
"My passion for making sourdoughs and pizzas leads me to this competition."
The competition's head judge, Andy Bacon, justified the winner's choice: A good base, good taste and the creator has an eye for detail.

Pizza Master 2019
Miguel Papaianni, Capperi, Helsinki
2019 Pizza Master Miguel Papaianni works as a chef and restaurateur at Restaurant Capper in Helsinki.
Miquel Papaianni is an Italian-Argentine chef who has worked in the hospitality industry since 1995. Miquel has owned two restaurants in total, one of which is a pizzeria on the coast of Argentina, in a four-star hotel.
Miquel moved to Finland with his family in 2014, after which he opened the pizzeria Capper with his friends in Oulunkylä, which is the first Neapolitan gourmet pizzeria in the Nordic countries.

Pizza Master 2017
Davide Sindoni, Sergio's, Turku
Davide is an Italian pizza expert working in Turku. He has over 10 years of experience in pizza making and has worked in various parts of Italy and Spain during his career.
In 2013, Davide trained as a pizza professional, Pizzaiolo, and delved into the world of yeast dough. He also specializes in making gluten-free dough and authentic Neapolitan pizza.
